Origins:
Our Coir Fibre Pith and Coconut Husk Chip manufacturing partner’s factories are situated within close proximity to over 200 coconut fibre mills in what is commonly referred to as The Coconut Triangle in Sri Lanka, providing us with very advantageous access to the best raw materials in the country.
The product is shipped in large sealed containers to Felixstowe where it is collected and transported to our depots in the County of Suffolk.
From here we are able to facilitate distribution and/ or collection to most UK Mainland destinations.
The Product:
The Coir Fibre Pith is regarded by many in the fields of Agriculture and Horticulture as The World’s Most Advanced, Naturally Growing Medium and it provides an unprecedented range of bio-diverse products.
We process our Enviro Husk coconut husk chips by literally chopping up this outer protective layer of material protecting the actual coconut as we know it into varying sizes and grades to suit its ultimate end uses.

Animal & Reptile:
Reptile bedding & Culture:
- May be used successfully for most tropical species including invertebrate culture.
Equestrian Ménage/Lunge:
- The unique characteristics of the coconut husk chip make them a great choice for use in Equestrian Ménages, Lunge Rings, Gallops and for bedding. The product is largely regarded as non-allergenic, light to touch and handle and has a natural springiness in its composition.
Equestrian Bedding:
Enviro Husk can be used as proprietary bedding, where its proven high water retention properties (8-9 times its own dry weight) allow it to absorb animal urine and waste several times its weight and through its natural carbon content it minimises the otherwise strong odours we generally associate with same. Once saturated with animal urine and waste, there is a "second cycle" of use….as a naturally organic compost/fertiliser, thus ensuring that there is no "waste"’ with the product or its initial investment, unlike many other synthetic materials. We are advised that between 3-5 bales per month are used per horse, based upon 3m2 horse stall.
